Once up the slope at 54, 50 you can easily see the mouth of the cave where you'll find Ringo. If you go up the SE slope there, you'll encounter one Scorching Elemental mob between you and the cave. the exact coordinates of the south eastern slope on Fire Plume Ridge where I went up are 55.26, 49.86. First of all, thanks for the + rates :) I'm glad my comments have helped! Second, thank you for clarifying that he is in the cave on the map and NOT on the top level of Fire Plume Ridge, StringAnomaly :) Also, thirdly, thank you for pointing out that you don't have to have Ringo targeted for the canteen to work, Cinosh! I only had him targeted because when he faints, you lose him as a target and so it sometimes helps you notice when he faints in case you miss his spoken cues :) I've edited the text a little to make that clearer. Simply click the canteen in order to give him some water and revive him.Įdit: It's a year and a half later or so, and I thought I'd add a few notes, seeing as how I'm doing this now on my Horde character. the heat, it's getting to me.", as soon as I noticed I'd lost him as a target I knew I needed to revive him. I kept Ringo targeted when he faints, you lose him as a target, so even if I missed his cues like "uggh. I put the canteen in an empty slot in my hotbar for the duration of this quest. those are indications that he is about to faint, and will need to be revived with the water from the little canteen in order to proceed. The escort part isn't tough because you lead Ringo, and so you can avoid mobs on your walk back (and you have like 25 minutes to do it.) You have a little canteen of water in your inventory that you were given from Spraggle when you were sent out to find Ringo, called "Spraggle's Canteen"- watch for Ringo to say things like "Ugghhh" or "I'm feeling faint". Once you find him, he'll give you a new quest "A Little Help From My Friends" and you escort him back to Marshal's Refuge. Unless you are a skinner, do yourself a favor: Avoid Un'goro and Tanaris like the plague.Comment by LumiyaSpellsongRingo can be found initially in a small cave on Fire Plume Ridge at location 51, 50 to complete the quest to "find" him. Blizz has also added an annoying ride quest ( La balada de Maximillian) and a mind numbingly boring set of 4 ride quests ( Observar siempre desde arriba). Blizzard has clearly ignored Un'goro quest chains (pre-Cata had better chains, with some good Nintendo references), Blizz has been stingy with inns (& thus stable masters), Blizz totally ignored mail boxes, Blizz refuses to offer a bread crumb quest to Silithus, and Blizz makes you run all over the zone (albeit a slightly better situation when compared to pre-Cata). In Tanaris you can gain the Tanaris Quest (Loremaster) Achievement by level 48, which is only slightly less ridiculous.įor leveling experience. Herbalists will find far more herbs in Winterspring, including plenty of Icecap (which isn't available in Un'goro).įor XP/leveling, I gained the Un'goro Quest (Loremaster) Achievement at level 52, which is ridiculous. Miners can find just as much (if not more) Thorium in Winterspring. Tailors absolutely should never go to Un'goro, because there are no mobs that drop cloth. Several Lv 55+ Elite Devilsaurs roam the crater, and if they sneak up on you while you're engaged in combat, you're probably not gonna last too long.Ĭomentario de HotRatsFelwood and Winterspring are much better than Tanaris and Un'goro for leveling and for professions (other than skinning/leatherworking).įor professions, both should be avoided unless you are a skinner. Always, always, ALWAYS keep on the lookout during battle. Plenty of great quests clustered together, but the drop rate is pretty low. Take a friend if you plan to be spending time here. Start collecting 'em on the way to save yourself a bit of time.ĭon't bother killing anything before you hit the Refuge: they'll have you slaying all of those plant critters and dinosaurs soon enough. There is no inn, so I usually just keep my Hearth in Tanaris.Īlong the way, you'll find different crystal colors and bloodpetal sprouts ( ), which will both be needed for various quests at the Refuge. The Refuge is located up in the mountains, along a hidden path near Karna Remtravel ( ). Entering from Tanaris, hug the Eastern edge of the crater to avoid the worst mobs. Comentario de 67015Horde and Alliance Flightpaths are located at Marshall's Refuge.
